Fast Bank and Shirak Football Club have recently signed a partnership agreement, under which the Bank resumes its support for the club and the development of sports in the region.

Armine Ter-Hovsepyan, Development Director of Fast Bank, stated:
“When we talk about Gyumri, it is impossible not to mention sports, particularly Shirak Football Club. Shirak has a large number of fans, and Fast Bank, with its two branches, does not stay aside from this. We are very happy to have resumed our cooperation with Shirak. We hope that this partnership will bring new victories to the club and great enthusiasm to its fans.”

It should be noted that Shirak is one of the oldest and most title-winning clubs in Armenia, consistently bringing together local sports enthusiasts. The club believes that this cooperation will serve as a new boost both for the team and for the development of football in Gyumri.

“When Fast Bank was our partner, we won the Armenian Super Cup two years ago. Currently, Shirak has adopted a policy of focusing more on local talent—children and youth from Gyumri—giving them opportunities to progress. We are confident that this partnership will further contribute to the development of football and sports in general in the Shirak region, particularly in the city of Gyumri,” said Shirak FC Executive Director Ruben Hakobyan.

Fast Bank keeps the development challenges of various sports in Armenia in focus. This year, the Bank has already signed cooperation agreements with FC Van, Pyunik’s women’s and youth teams, and Yerevan Futsal Club.

Fast Bank is a company aiming to become a digital bank, operating 24/7 in Yerevan and across all regions of Armenia.

Fast Bank is supervised by the Central Bank of Armenia.
