Fast Bank has received a B+ Sustainability Compliance Rating
Fast Bank has been awarded a B+ Sustainability Compliance Rating by the German organization Agents for Impact, corresponding to the “GOOD” level. The evaluation takes into account the quality of governance, social responsibility, and environmental impact at both operational and strategic levels.
According to the report, Fast Bank’s overall sustainability performance significantly exceeds the global acceptability threshold, highlighting the Bank’s strong commitment to responsible financing, inclusive economic growth, and ethical governance. The rating also emphasizes the Bank’s dedication to customer-centric policies and services that are accessible to all segments of society.
Misak Avagyan, Fast Bank’s Environmental and Social Risk Management Officer, stated that the rating reflects the Bank’s substantial progress and alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as well as the principles of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance):
“This rating opens up new opportunities for the Bank to expand and deepen cooperation with international partners within the framework of sustainability-based initiatives and programs. It is also noteworthy that, according to the report, the Bank has made significant progress in integrating environmental and social risk assessment practices into its lending processes.”
The evaluation was carried out using the AFISAR sustainability compliance rating tool through an independent assessment. The Bank’s initiatives related to sustainable development goals were evaluated, including poverty reduction, gender equality, decent work and economic growth, support for inclusive communities, and promotion of equality.
In the environmental field, Fast Bank has also begun developing systems aimed at improving resource efficiency and raising environmental awareness.
