Property Insurance
Under property insurance, the bank insures any residential building, except for those in emergency condition. Information about the building's condition is provided in the property appraisal report. The insurance contract is signed for specific adverse events that may cause damage to your property.
The insurance premium is calculated at 0.15% of the market value of the property. Property insurance contracts are typically signed for one year and are mandatory extended until the completion of the loan obligation.
Accident Insurance
The insurance amount for mortgage loans is equal to the loan principal. The insurance premium is calculated at 0.15% of the insurance amount (minimum 1000 AMD). Accident insurance contracts are typically signed for one year and are mandatory extended until the completion of the loan obligation.
Accident insurance takes effect from 00:00 on the day following the signing of the contract (the start date can be later, depending on the insurer's preference). The contract expires either at the end of the contract term or after the insurer has fully fulfilled its obligations.
