Fast Bank Becomes Title Sponsor of Pyunik Women’s and Youth Teams

Fast Bank has become the title sponsor of the women’s and youth teams of leading Armenian football club FC Pyunik. The bank has also taken two youth teams of the Pyunik Academy under its sponsorship.

 

Fast Bank CEO Garegin Darbinyan noted:

Pyunik is a legendary Armenian football club with 16 championship titles and 8 cups. The club has helped launch the careers of stars such as Henrikh Mkhitaryan and many players from the golden generation of the Armenia national football team.

 

Suren Baghdasaryan, CEO of FC Pyunik, emphasized the importance of cooperation with the bank:

The launch event of the partnership was attended by the Armenian national team goalkeeper Henri Avagyan, Artak Dashyan, and other leading players of the Yerevan team. Avagyan described Pyunik as his second home, stressing that it was while playing for the club that he was noticed and given the opportunity to represent the national team.

 

“Pyunik’s goals in the Armenian championships have always been high—we fight for titles. This year as well we will try to win both the championship and the cup,” he said.
