Fast Bank provides $30 million in financing to Firebird AI

Fast Bank has joined the financing project of the Firebird AI company, providing a loan of 30 million USD. For the first time in the history of Armenia, 6 financial institutions have united around one megaproject, providing 300 million USD in financing for the construction of an artificial intelligence data processing center.
Fast Bank, Ardshinbank, ACBA Bank, Evocabank, C-Quadrat Ampega Asset Management Armenia and Amundi-ACBA Asset Management Fund recently signed a partnership agreement at a solemn ceremony, confirming that the Armenian financial system has sufficient confidence and professionalism to jointly serve large-scale and strategic projects.
The event was attended by delegations led by the Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, the Chairman of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia, as well as the Chargé d’Affaires of the US Embassy in the Republic of Armenia.
“From the Bank’s point of view, this investment is not only a business investment in terms of the Bank’s development, the Bank’s growth, but also an important investment for us in Armenia, for the fundamental changes in Armenia’s development and for the long-term perspective. We are very happy and proud that Fast Bank is participating in such a syndicated financing,” said Garegin Darbinyan, Executive Director of Fast Bank.
Firebird’s artificial intelligence factory will become the most powerful computing and AI data processing center in the region, positioning Armenia as a growing force in the global technological landscape and an important hub for next-generation innovations.
