Fast Bank Becomes the Main Sponsor of the Grappling Federation of Armenia
Fast Bank has started collaborating with the Grappling Federation of Armenia as its main sponsor. This partnership provides significant support ahead of the upcoming European Championships in grappling, pankration, and amateur MMA.
Artavazd Taroian, Director of SME Business Management and a board member at Fast Bank, emphasized that this sponsorship aims to encourage Armenian athletes: “Our representatives in grappling have great potential and have excelled in various championships. Fast Bank’s support is intended to motivate our talented wrestlers, and we are confident that through continuous efforts and backing, they will achieve victories,” he said.
It should be noted that from May 24 to 31 of this year, Armenia will host the official European Championships of the international organization UWW (United World Wrestling) for the first time. The Armenian national team will participate in full across the age categories: under-15, under-17, under-20, and adult competitions.
Sargis Bazinyan, President of the Grappling Federation of Armenia, stated: “We highly value our partners, namely Fast Bank, for standing by us and making this championship possible. I would also like to highlight that, for the first time in Armenian history, we are hosting multiple European Championship disciplines simultaneously: grappling, pankration, and amateur mixed martial arts.”
Founded in 2020, the Grappling Federation of Armenia has already won 72 medals in World and European Championships.
Fast Bank continuously invests in the development of various sports in Armenia and has recently signed several cooperation agreements with different clubs.
