The infrastructure of the Gyumri Dramatic Theatre has been renovated with financing from Fast Bank.
With funding from Fast Bank, the infrastructure of the V. Achemyan State Dramatic Theatre in Gyumri has been completely renovated and modernized.
This year, the Gyumri Dramatic Theatre celebrates the 161st anniversary of its founding. Characterized by an active creative process, new premieres, and the involvement of directors invited from various regions of Armenia, the theatre hosts tens of thousands of spectators annually—approximately 32,000 of whom are children.
Alongside its vibrant cultural life, the theatre had long faced infrastructure challenges; the restrooms intended for the audience, for instance, had not been renovated for 25–26 years. Thanks to an initiative by Fast Bank, the theatre will welcome its audience this season with fully renovated and modernized facilities.
Gyumri’s V. Aram Karapetyan, Director of the Achemyan State Dramatic Theatre, highlighted the importance of investments from private companies, particularly in cultural institutions located in the regions. "This is the first time that, rather than us reaching out to the private sector, the private sector has come to us with an offer. We are very grateful and truly value this, as there is a significant need for such investment within the state sector—especially in the regions," he stated.
Thanks to this initiative by the Bank, the thousands of visitors to the Gyumri Theatre will now benefit from modern and dignified facilities—a further step toward ensuring balanced development and a comfortable environment across the regions.
Fast Bank continues to expand its range of services, offering fast, convenient, and secure 24/7 financial solutions in Yerevan and throughout all regions of Armenia.
Fast Bank is regulated by the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia.
