Fast Bank Sponsored the Summer School on Data Science and Cybersecurity

Sponsored by Fast Bank and organized by the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics of Yerevan State University, the summer school titled "Cryptography, Statistics, and Machine Learning" was held. This summer school has been running continuously for 7 years, and this year, it took place in Tsaghkadzor, hosting 57 undergraduate and graduate students, PhD candidates, and young scientists from 8 countries.

 

The courses were led by 9 experts, 7 of whom were from abroad and 2 from Armenia. Among them were internationally recognized scientists as well as young specialists who have already made achievements in their fields.

 

One of the organizers of the summer school, Juliet Boyajyan, emphasized the importance of creating opportunities for the development of scientific potential in the modern world:

 

"Organizing a summer school is not that easy, as it comes with significant responsibility, and we often need help. In this case, our sponsors, especially our platinum sponsor Fast Bank, have greatly assisted us in organizing and facilitating communication with students," she said.

 

The goal of the "Cryptography, Statistics, and Machine Learning" summer school is to create a platform where, on the one hand, experts in the field share up-to-date knowledge, and on the other, participants have the opportunity to listen to lectures from leading professionals, build connections, exchange knowledge, and interact with each other.
