With the support of Fast Bank, the 6th "Yerevan Open" international chess tournament was held at the Tigran Petrosyan Chess Home and Sports School.

"It is a rather expensive event in various aspects, and the prize fund is quite high, and we invite strong chess players, covering their expenses and other organizational costs. I must thank Fast Bank, indeed, without the Bank's assistance and support, it would be very difficult to hold a high-level tournament," said Norayr Kalantaryan, Vice President of the Yerevan Chess Federation, Director of the Yerevan Open 2024 International Chess Tournament.
The total prize fund of the 7-day tournament was 12 million AMD. The winner of Group A was Grandmaster Platon Galperin from Sweden, the winner of Group B was Hakob Hakobyan, and the winner of the blitz tournament was Grandmaster Karen Grigoryan.
