Fast Bank continues the renovation of infrastructure at cultural centers

With the support of Fast Bank, the restrooms of the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall, the National Center of Chamber Music, the Russian drama theatre named after K. Stanislavsky, the Boheme and the National Puppet Theaters were renovated. In total, Fast Bank undertook the renovation of the restrooms of 11 cultural venues.

"This idea arose when we noticed that the restrooms in cultural institutions are not in good condition. I believe that everything in cultural centers should be perfect, even the restrooms. During the construction, we used only Armenian stone, travertine, the lights, lanterns, and chandeliers are hand-made by blacksmiths. Everything was built in the Armenian style," said Vahe Badalyan, Chairman of the Board of Fast Bank, co-founder of the Badalyan Brothers Group of Companies.

"In the history of world theater, patrons have always played a very serious role. And thank God that there are private companies that support cultural centers and renovate restrooms. We are grateful to Fast Bank that our restrooms are in perfect condition. We attach great importance to creating such conditions for our audience so that they feel good," said Suren Shahverdyan, director of the Stanislavsky Russian Drama Theater.

With Fast Bank's financing, the renovation of restrooms of the Hrachya Ghaplanyan Drama Theater and the Sos Sargsyan National Theater will also be completed by the end of the year.

The restrooms of the Hovhannes Tumanyan National Puppet Theater were last renovated in 2002. According to the theater's artistic director, even after the renovation, the Asian style from the Soviet years was preserved, there was no hot water, and there were insufficient sanitary and hygienic conditions.

"When business and culture cooperate and move together, both sides benefit. This speaks of the high level of Fast Bank. About a mindset that is not limited to purely banking activities, but understands how important it is for our country to be attractive in all areas," noted Ruben Babayan, artistic director of the National Puppet Theater.

It is noted that the restrooms of the Hakob Paronyan State Theater of Musical Comedy, the A. Spendiaryan National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet, and the Gyumri and Kapan theaters are also in the measurement and design phase.

"I am very grateful to Fast Bank. This meant a lot to us. We are a private theater, and had a lot of difficulties." said Narek Duryan, artistic director of the "Bohem" theater.

"The bank's support for cultural projects is of a regular nature and is an important part of the corporate social responsibility of the group of companies owned by the Badalyan family," the bank's statement says.
